SEA Games Opening 2015 was thrilling! Singapore Indoor Stadium was filled with excitement, anticipation and pride.

We got to our seats in the Singapore Indoor Stadium at 1930 hrs after "snaking" through the long queue of security checks. The atmosphere was euphoric! We were pumped up as swells of Kallang Wave rippled through the stadium. The stadium was illuminated up by LED lights and the medallions issued in the fun pack. The scene was enchanting!

The opening started with the entrance of Mr President, Dr Tony Tan. We sung the national anthem and watch our Singapore flag flew a round round the stadium.

Thereafter, came the Mascot of SEA Games 2015, Nila. He made a special entry by sky diving into the Singapore Indoor Stadium, rejoiced with the hosts and the audience.

Next, we welcome the athletics from the 11 countries as they marched past the stadium. The audience cheered their team and we see enthused people stood up as a form of high respect while their team pasts them.

The SEA Games flag is hoisted up and the performances started. Most performances made use of the incredible special effects lighting and high wiring equipment at the stadium. It seems as though National Day has came early this year.

The finale of the ceremony, the Bridge of Friendship is set up while the performers and athletics filled the stage. The long awaited moment has finally came. The torch of the SEA Games has reached the stadium and was lit up by our football legend, Fandi Ahmad and his son, Irfan Fandi.

Last but not least, the spectacular fireworks display and the magical falling of snow flakes marks the end of the ceremony.
