Getting around Bagan

Travelers can rent bicycles or E-bikes for around 10 SGD per day to explore the scattered Stupas and pagodas in Bagan.

Admission

Any tourists visiting the temples of Bagan are required to pay Bagan Archaeological Zone fee of K25,000 ($20 USD). There are fee desks at the airport and major ports of entry, but they only accept cash. Make sure to carry it with you at all times in Bagan.

What to wear?

As a gesture of respect to the sacred places, shoulders and knees must be covered; Shoes and socks should be removed upon entering a temple. Thus, do wear shoes that are easy to remove. Longyis are perfect for concealing legs and can be purchased for a few Kyats in Myanmar.
