Safari Zoo Run 2015's here! I had taken part for this event for consecutive 3 years!
This year, the race is divided into 2 days, Sat and Sunday unlike previous years where it is held on only 1 day. Surprisingly, there's quite a number of participants and I spotted quite a number of tourists! "Welcome to Singapore! =D"
The interesting thing about this run is, it's held in the Singapore Zoo. You get to run into some tracks where zoo keepers work. Furthermore, free entry into Singapore Zoo.
The most unique thing for me would be the smell! The safari area, where the zebras, giraffes and lions are kept has the strongest "aroma". It's "mesmerizing"! haha.
A shuttle bug like me would grab full use of this chance to photograph the animals in their enclosures. We have the majestic tigers, the black bears, arrogant lions, "cam whore" piglets, the tall giraffes, curious Meerkats, "sexy" zerbas (look at that arss*), etc.
Finally, completed the run! The route was quite smooth. Beware of the upslope at the start and some rocky terrain, you'll be fine.
There's all folks! Keep running =)
"I wonder if you took part in this run? I missed pushing you a little hard and then slow down making you pace me. I hope you're still up in your running! The stench of the safari animals are overpowering, so don't worry ;)"
