Exploring the upper deck of Rochor Centre, I've found that this area is well equipped despite its ragged looks.
Before I go onto why, here are more images on level 2 and 3. Below is an image of the stairways connecting level 2 and level 3. It is quite a spacious area and we can see a portion of level 4 right from here.
Next, we have the view of the plaza from level 3. The lighting around the building isn't great and I thought it would be cool getting a picture of the dimly lit corridor. This photo creates a dark and mysterious feel. However, there's a light at the end of the corridor which is brightly lit. Hence, I call this "Light overcomes darkness".
I love this road that leads out of Rochor Centre. The photo is balanced, by the walls and stores at the sides of the main subject, the road. I added some of the cinema effects to the photos - tint orange on highlights and blue green on shadows. I love how this effect is applied on roads. Be sure to bumped up the contrast and sharpness of the image =)
Lastly, to me, Rochor Centre is well equipped because it has coffee shops all around and a supermarket right below it. Furthermore, on level 4, I discovered that this common around has a fitness corner for the elderly, a separate fitness corner for adults and a playground for children. It has 2 shopping centers within walking distances and is centrally located. This mean, there are quite a number of bus services to other locations and Bugis MRT is one of the interchange for the newly opened Downtown line.
There are many pigeons around. I noticed this spot where a lot of pigeons gathered. I camped there to get a shot of the pigeons when they fly but failed. Here's a shot of a pigeon that flew. Enjoy folks!
