Soup Stock Tokyo opens a new branch at 313 Somerset. Passed by it a few times and finally got to try it.

I had the recommended set which comes with Hokkaido Carb Bisque, a Chicken Vegetable Soup and a choice of white rice, brown rice or bread. The Hokkaido Carb Bisque is rich with a creamy touch. The carb flavor is well balanced with the tomatoes and herbs.

I love the Chicken Vegetable Soup! The soup is cooked with 8 types of vegetables - onion, zucchini, bell pepper, eggplant, tomato, french been, garlic, lettuce. The taste is unique - Not too salty, a little sour and with a little oily. The chicken meat is tender and strong in flavor!

I'm not a fan of the Japanese "Saba" Minestrone but it's still good. On top of the soup, they added some dried fish flakes which brings out the seafood taste. In the soup, there are tiny slices of Saba?

Do try out try Soup Stock Tokyo folks! It might be a little pricey considering the small portion of soup served.
